    The present invention relates to a deodorizing structure of the manhole, and more particularly to a manhole of a new structure that can block the generation of odor from the manhole.
    Manholes are constructed at regular intervals along the sewers or drains embedded in roadsides, through which the workers enter the sewers and perform maintenance such as cleaning or dredging. However, if the sewage flowing through the sewer contains a large amount of manure, toxic chemicals and other odor-producing substances, odors are emitted through this manhole, resulting in poor walking environment.
    The present invention has been proposed in view of the problems of the conventional manhole as described above, and is intended to provide a new manhole deodorizing structure provided with a blocking mechanism that blocks odor from leaking out of the manhole.

    According to the present invention, in the manhole 10 embedded in the ground and covered with the manhole cover 11, the cover member 12 for blocking the manhole 10 is provided inside the manhole 10, The cover member 12 is provided with a deodorizing structure of the manhole, characterized in that the opening and closing plate 18 which is opened by the pressure or weight of the inflow water and is returned and closed by its own weight.
    Hereinafter, with reference to the drawings will be described a preferred embodiment of the present invention. 1 is an embodiment of the present invention, as shown, the manhole cover 11 is provided in the upper opening of the manhole 10 constructed of concrete or the like. This manhole cover is constructed to allow rainwater to flow in by taking a grid or other suitable grating structure. A cover member 12 is formed between the manhole 10 and the manhole cover 11 to form a feature of the present invention. The cover member 12 blocks the inside of the manhole or the sewer pipe from the outside. Preferably, the cover member 12 is formed with an inclined portion 14 for smoothly discharging inflow water such as sewage and rainwater. However, this inclined portion 14 may be replaced with another suitable form that facilitates, or at least does not interfere with, the flow of rainwater.
    The tip end portion of the inclined portion 14 is provided with an opening and closing plate 18 which is pivotally opened and closed by the hinge shaft 24. The opening and closing plate 18 is preferably pushed open by the own weight of the inflow water, and has a structure such that the opening and closing plate can be turned back and blocked by the own weight. In the illustrated embodiment, the tip of the diaphragm 14 is further extended to allow the opening and closing plate 18 to be inclined by θ rather than being vertically positioned in the closed state to ensure reliable return of the opening and closing plate 18. In this state, since the force acts in the direction of return by the own weight, the closing plate 18 can be completely blocked.
    2 is another embodiment of the present invention, in which the opening and closing plate 18 is integrally formed with a weight portion 26 extending in a substantially perpendicular direction. Therefore, it is opened as shown by the dotted line by the pressure or weight of the inflow water, and when the inflow water passes, it is blocked as shown by the solid line by the weight of the weight 26. The structure of the weight may be modified in various forms in addition to those shown.
    In order to enter the manhole, the operator can open the manhole cover 11 and lift the cover member 12 to enter the inside. As the material of the cover member 12, a suitable material having excellent molding such as synthetic resin, FRP, or casting can be used.
